Clock Tower Cafe Stables Gift Shop

The Clock Tower Cafe

Adjacent to the house, in what was the courtyard stable block, this pretty building dates back to the early 1820s and was added by John Greame III.

The cafe serves a wide range of hot and cold refreshments with freshly ground coffee, a selection of sandwiches, soup, cakes and homemade scones and flapjacks, together with seasonal specials!

There is a selection of children's food available in the Clock Tower Cafe.

Dog walkers and their dogs are welcome at the Clock Tower Cafe in a designated seating area.

Sewerby Hall and Gardens members get 10% discount on selected menu and retail items.
*Please show your cards prior to ordering at the till points. Discount also applies to East Riding Lesiure and Bridlington Spa memberships.

Loyalty card

Pick up a loyalty card; get a stamp for each hot drink purchased, and your 7th is free.

Bring your own mug

Save 20p on your hot drinks when you bring your own reusable mug.
*Please check that mugs are 14oz or more in size, so your drink won’t spill.

The Stables and Welcome Centre Gift Shops

The gift shops are both located in the courtyard selling a wide range of items including locally-sourced produce, mugs, soft toys and other pocket-money priced items, all of which will help you remember your visit to Sewerby Hall and Gardens once you have left.

Our ice cream parlour is opened on busy days. Visitors can purchase ice creams, hot drinks and slushies.

Policies

Dogs in our Cafes

At Sewerby Hall and Gardens, we love dogs, and we want you and your furry companion to enjoy our cafe. However, we also want to respect the comfort and safety of all our guests.

That is why we have some simple rules for bringing your dog to our seating area. Please read them carefully and follow them when you visit us.

  • Dogs are only allowed at the allocated Dog Friendly seating area in the café, or on their way to and from this area.
  • Dogs must always be on a lead under your control.
  • Dogs must not disturb other guests or staff by barking, jumping, or begging.
  • Dogs must remain on the floor and must never be placed on seats or allowed on or near tabletops.
  • Dogs must never be allowed to eat from crockery.
  • If your dog has an accident indoors. Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste properly. Please notify staff who can provide white roll and sanitiser for owners to use.
  • Owners may be asked to relocate or leave with their dogs if they cause any problems or discomfort for other guests.
