Opening times

There's plenty to see and do at Sewerby Hall and Gardens. Our facilities have varied opening times, please select a date to plan your visit. Please note, the management of all facilities reserve the right to close due to poor weather conditions.

Restrictions during your visit

Motorised wheelchairs must be left outside the House

Due to conservation issues motorised wheelchairs are not permitted in the house or Orangery. We have a small amount of hand-pushed and self-propelled wheelchairs for use inside and these are available on a first come, first served basis.

Motorised wheelchairs can be secured outside at the accessible entrance. Rain covers are advisable.

Prams or pushchairs must be left outside the House

Due to conservation issues prams or pushchairs are not permitted in the house or Orangery. We have two HippyChick Hipseats available on a first come, first served basis.

Prams or pushchairs can be secured outside at the accessible entrance. Rain covers are advisable.

Dogs are not allowed inside the House or Zoo

Except for Assistance Dogs, dogs are not permitted in the zoo, House, children's adventure playground, Stables Gift Shop, Orangery and Clock Tower Cafe. There is a section in the cafe where all dogs are permitted.

Sewerby Hall and Gardens welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must remain on leads at all times.
