The perfect venue

Sewerby Hall and Gardens is the ideal venue for wedding ceremonies and holds a civil wedding licence. Adjacent to the house is the stunning Orangery; a magnificent nineteenth-century glass conservatory overlooking the superb gardens with Bridlington Bay beyond. There is seating for up to 120 guests for the ceremony, or up to 70 for a reception or Vintage Afternoon Tea.

Ceremonies

Offering a blank canvas for your day, the beautiful setting of the estate and Orangery promises a day cherished forever.

Extras include chair covers and a wedding runner to add that romantic touch. Front of house staff will be discretely on hand at all times should they be needed and a classical pianist can be supplied.

Don't forget to include a trip along the north promenade and cliff top in our decorated Land Train. Guaranteed to make your special day even more perfect!

Receptions

A cold seated menu, finger buffet or Vintage Afternoon Teas can be provided after your wedding for up to 70 people along with various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
