An afternoon of music in the Orangery: Riverside Brass.

Riverside Brass was formed in 2015. The ensemble usually consists of ten brass players plus percussion and was the concept of local musician Dixon Laing - Dan Hatton (trumpet 3) and Liz Hatton (euphonium) are the only original members of the group.

Members of Riverside Brass possess a wealth of experience playing in leading orchestras and brass bands including, the Halle, Opera North and Northern Ballet Orchestras, Brighouse, Brodsworth Colliery, Hammonds, City of Hull (EYMS) brass bands. Some members of the ensemble are music teachers (classroom and instrumental teachers for both the East Riding and City of Hull Education Authorities) and have experience as music examiners.
