From bundles of ceramic “linen” in the Servants’ Hall symbolising the work and lives of the laundry maids, to the Mistress’ Women’s Rights Tea Set in the drawing room, this exhibition offers a fresh perspective on country house life and celebrates the resilience, routine, and quiet strength of the women who shaped it.
